About event

Everyone remembers “Eneida,” right?
The first poem written in a living Ukrainian—the very language that later became the foundation of modern Ukrainian.
The first unofficial culinary encyclopedia of Ukrainian dishes—with pundyky, kulyshy, shulyky, and medovukha.
A poem in which, instead of the Romans and Troy, there are Zaporozhians and the Sich.
A manifesto of Ukrainian identity.

But there are also little-known stories—about how “Eneida” appeared on paper, who was the first to dare to depict eroticism in Ukrainian literature, about nine years of painstaking work, a bit of censorship—and about the style that became part of our visual code.

For the first time, researchers of Ukrainian gastro- and design culture are gathering these stories together—in one grand dinner.
7 unique dishes from chef Yevhen Klopotenko and unexpected design stories from the art directors and chief editors of the magazine “Chronicle of Ukrainian Design”—Volodymyr Smyrnov and Nastichka Zherebetska.

The ticket price includes a copy of “Chronicle” No. 4. Other issues from Ist Publishing will also be available for purchase on site.
