A dinner was born somewhere between the lines of an alchemical treatise and a cookbook.
4th of September at 7:00 PM, at «Poltava» restaurant, a 7-course menu by chef Yevhen Klopotenko will become a continuation of Ostap Ukrainets’s baroque fantasy — the book «The Alchemical Diary».
On the table — stylized 17th-century dishes, each like a page torn from a lost manuscript by Bishop Shumlianskyi’s cook.
Each course will be paired with wines from Ukrainian wineries to enhance and complete the flavor experience.
